Meetings take place on the 1st Tuesday of the month
Doors open at 7pm for 7:30pm start

Non-members are always very welcome. We now operate on a voluntary donations system - the price of a drink helps us to continue our programme and supports our campaigning work.

Note: Meetings are held at the North End Social Club, Roff Avenue, Bedford MK41 7TW, normally on the 1st Tuesday of the month.

Humanist Meetings: The format is usually either a presentation or a discussion about a topic that is in the news. All is completely informal and over a pint of most exellent ale or  glass of wine or similar - there is a proper bar so a good selection of drinks is available including non-alcoholic. You won't be preached at, roped in or obliged to join anything - feel free to "just listen" or disagree with what is being said, as the fancy takes you. If you enjoy setting the world to rights over a drink, then this may be the place for you - and feel free to suggest a topic for discussion at a future meeting.

North End Social Club (NESC) - The North End Social Club can appear a bit foreboding from outside, but the room we use is large and comfortable, with a bar and a guest ale on tap. There is car parking behind the club. Access is by the front door which has a call button to the left - press the button and the bar staff will release the door lock (listen for the click), so the door can be pushed open. The room is immediately on the left.
