St John's fete

By Kim - Posted on 21 August 2011

We were at St John’s Hospice, our official charity, on Sunday 14th August, taking part in their fete. The theme of the fete was ‘World War II’. We ran a mine clearing game to make money for the hospice. We also had information on our stand about the continuing danger of landmines, and a little bit of information on Humanism. Thanks to the Signals Museum at RAF Henlow for lending us some exhibits. The fete raised £26,000 for St John’s, and we are delighted to have contributed towards this.
