Last meeting - 27th Sept

Our last meeting was on Tuesday 27th September, at the REC. We had a speaker from the ‘Yarl’s Wood Befrienders’. This group visits the detainees to help them feel less isolated. Obviously Yarl’s Wood is in the news a lot and is quite controversial, so it was interesting to have a talk from somebody with direct experience of the place.
