Sex worker cleared

Claire Finch offers massage with "happy endings" at her home in Bedfordshire and yesterday was found not guilty of running a brothel.

Claire attended our meeting in March 2010 along with representatives of The International Prostitutes Collective to discuss decriminalising the industry. Claire had been in fear of loosing her home for the past 16 months because of the accusations hanging over her. The police had been aware of her business for some time before they raided her home and found nothing. Claire's point is that sex workers should be allowed to work together rather than be forced to work alone and therefore vunerable. Many of our group could see the injusticies and decided to attend the court to support her.
